About us

Hilda De Felice

Hilda De Felice is a highly experienced and successful educational consultant. Formerly a secondary head teacher, her school gained many achievements under her leadership, with groundbreaking developments in learning skills for which she was selected to represent UK at an international OECD conference in Japan, improvement in exam results and achievements across may areas, including ethos, staff wellbeing and health promotion. She developed stimulating programmes for adults, young people and children on Nutrition, Hydration and Movement.

Since becoming an educational consultant in February 2000, Hilda has worked extensively within the education community across the UK. Her areas of interest and expertise include raising school performance, assessment for learning, motivation, mind mapping, resilience and optimism. Hilda has devised many innovative programmes including early developments within the context of Curriculum of Excellence. Her recent areas of focus have been:

  • the relationship between motivation and learning, with the emphasis on creating conditions for pupil self-motivation and independent and interdependent learning
  • the role and influence of parents in the learning process of young people. She has presented many workshops in schools to parents and carers of a wide range of children and young people on assessment, learning skills and related concepts
  • Working with Newly Qualified Teachers on many areas, including Motivation, Assessment for Learning, Home-Schools links and Curriculum for Excellence
  • Producing materials and contributing to products and publications from booklets on pedagogy to distance learning web-tools
  • The changing curriculum within schools in the UK and beyond which reflects the need for a more interactive methodology and collaborative approach between learners and teachers.

Hilda’s courses are enthusiastically received by course participants and are both interactive and entertaining.
