Linda Kirkwood has played a key role in the development of the new Scottish Curriculum. She has spent two years as Professional Adviser on Education to the Scottish Government. Prior to that she had 14 years’ experience as a headteacher of two secondary schools.
Linda helped develop policy on Building the Curriculum series for Curriculum for Excellence and supporting practice at National, Local Authority and school level. In Oban High School she led the school’s transformational change in professional practice, improving pedagogy planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating and maintaining improvements and providing professional development to build capacity in staff.
