Curriculum for Excellence: 6 NEW Case Studies in the Joyning the Learning Series

Topics for entire primary age range

These new topics exemplify how teachers have created their own interdisciplinary contexts and how their planning is moving forward from 5-14 content to CfE experience and outcomes.

Exemplars range from an active learning topic for P1-3, to a whole school themed approach in a special school for children and young people aged 5-18.

Each Case Study is similar but different, because they exemplify a set process. They make visible the outcomes of CfE and illustrate the Learning Intentions and Success Criteria related to these. Each Study is set within a particular school content and each teacher has her own story to tell.

The Case Studies publications can be supported by a Twilight Course for all staff.
